Amy Winehouse has made "no decision" about divorcing husband
Talk of Amy Winehouse divorcing her husband may be a little premature, it seems.
The troubled singer, who's rumored to be in a relationship with her manager's assistant, Alex Haynes, has made "no decision" about divorcing her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil, a source close to the 24-year-old soul diva says.
"It is a tough situation," the source said, in response to recent reports the couple were set to split. "[I] don't think that anyone who knows them and cares about them doesn't have an opinion about why they should [split], but it's not happening now."
The source insists that the Grammy Award winner's "health and wellbeing" remain the most immediate concerns for those close to her.
On Sunday, Winehouse's father Mitch told Britain's News of the World newspaper that he wanted his drug-addled daughter sectioned for her own protection.
"I want her sectioned," he said. "The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street."
On Friday last week, the soul diva was questioned about reports she attacked two men during a drug-fueled night out the previous week. She received a formal police caution but no charge for assault. She was released from police custody the next day.
Winehouse met Fielder-Civil, a part-time music video assistant, at a London bar in 2003. They married in Miami in May 2007.
