Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon married
Mariah Carey is married to Nick Cannon, a source close to the couple has said.
The source tells Latina magazine that the pair wed yesterday in a small ceremony on an island and it was "very impulsive".
The wedding was attended by a few close friends of the couple, including Da Brat.
Speculation that the two were an item began last month when Mariah, 38, was seen sporting a dazzling diamond ring on her left ring finger at the NYC premiere of her upcoming film Tennessee.
When asked at the party what he loved about Mariah, 27-year-old Nick gave a one-word answer: "Everything".
Mariah was previously married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 – 1998.
Nick was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year.
Reps for both Nick and Mariah were unavailable for comment.

I think they are a handsome couple, I know many people will have negative things to say, and that's ok. I pray their marriage will last forever and a day. I was very sad for her after her last marriage, she seems to be such a sweet individual and what I have seen of him he too seem to be a well rounded person it is possible that they saw something in each other that no other was able to see.
