Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon marriage confirmed by family member!
Confirmed! Mariah Carey has married beau Nick Cannon.
The confirmation came late last night from a member of Nick's family, Linda Cannon, who says she received a phone call from the 27-year old funnyman confirming the happy news.
"Yes, we know. He called and told us all about it," Linda tells E! News. "We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him."
As for the specifics, including whether or not the wedding took place in the Bahamas, as previously reported, Mrs. Cannon declined to elaborate, saying only, "I'm not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him."
Early yesterday, a friend of the 'Touch My Body' singer said that the pair were in such a rush to get married, "there was no pre-nup - there wasn't time."
It's Mariah's second marriage. She was married to record executive Tommy Mottola from 1993 – 1998.
Nick was previously engaged to Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks in 2007. However, the couple called off the engagement that same year.
When asked what he loved about Carey, Cannon said "everything."
Added the friend: "Everyone is happy to see her happy.
"And it could work out -- some people know each other for five years and get divorced, maybe this is true instant love."

Well what ever floats their boat. I am not a hater but give me a break. Mariah the huge Mogul versus Cannon the relative newbie. Seriously you guys this cannot be for real. They should of fully felt it through before jumping over the "broom" stick.Nick is still relatively young and probably star struck at the attractive singer, and Mariah well who knows......The problem is there will I am sure be a divorce out of this one. This is a guarantee.

Congrats Mariah & Nick! I'm sure you've accomplished in breaking many guys' hearts with this news including my buddy Erick Martinez of Concord. We used to listen to your music on the way to San Francisco to set the mood for a night of drinking Cisco Malt Liquor (yuk!...but it was cheap) and spending the evening as a couple at strip clubs. This was back in the "#1's" release day. He was only interested in the hot ladies that had some kind of resemblance to you! Thanks for the good times then and now!
