Lindsay Lohan is back at work — filming scenes for ABC hit Ugly Betty, the actress’ rep has confirmed.

The 21-year-old was so excited about shooting her spot on the show, she “arrived on set 45 minutes early,” says one insider. “Lindsay and America [Ferrera] really hit it off!”

The ‘Mean Girls’ star will play a down-on-her-luck old high school pal of Betty, reports Variety.

Lohan’s first episode airs on the May 22 season finale.

Her rep says she is also set to appear in multiple episodes of the hit show.

Lohan is also set to star in the forthcoming film Manson Girls as one of the murderer’s cult followers.
