Lindsay Lohan set for a glorious comeback?

Lindsay Lohan's appearance in hit TV show Ugly Betty is being touted as a possible comeback for the troubled actress.

"She really, really needs this to go well," one industry source who has worked with Lohan in the past tells MSNBC. "For the longest time she’s been getting terrible advice — that's been obvious for quite some time. This is the first good decision she’s made from an acting standpoint since Georgia Rules."

So far, say reports, the 21-year-old actress is off to a good start. She even "arrived on set 45 minutes early," according to Us Weekly, and she and America Ferrera -- who plays Betty Suarez in the hit show -- "really hit it off."

So could the beleaguered actress be on the road to a glorious comeback? "Look what Robert Downey Jr. has done with his career," adds a source who worked with Lohan prior to her rehab stints. "He was in much worse shape than Lindsay, and look what he did. She just needs to keep making good choices."
