Amy Winehouse released on bail
Amy Winehouse has been released on bail after being arrested and questioned yesterday over a video which appears to show her smoking crack through a glass pipe.
The 'Rehab' songstress, 24, was held at East London's Limehouse police station. She arrived by appointment at midday with her dad Mitch, who recently called for her to be sectioned.
She shouted from a car window: "I wanna go and play football!" before being ushered inside by her lawyers.
Police asked the singer who supplied her with the drugs.
A video handed to detectives in January showed Amy inhaling crack fumes from a pipe for around 19 minutes.
The Grammy Award winner also appeared to take ecstasy and cocaine and swallow around six valium pills. However, it's unlikely she'll be charged with possession of drugs because it is notoriously difficult to prove beyond doubt what the substances were. A spokesman for Amy said: "She arrived voluntarily and is co-operating fully."
Sir Bob Geldof's daughter Peaches, 19, is to be questioned by the same detectives after she was filmed allegedly buying $400 of cocaine.
