Ashton Kutcher: "I had sworn myself off relationships before I met Demi"

Ashton KutcherAshton Kutcher's bed-hopping ways became a thing of the past when he met his now wife, Demi Moore, for the first time.

"I had sworn myself off relationships before I met Demi," said Kutcher -- who confesses he planned to sleep with as many women as possible while living it up in New York.

"At the time we met I was in New York partying and I was hosting Saturday Night Live and I was saying to myself, 'I am going to party, I'm going to sleep with this girl and that girl.

"And then I met my wife. As soon as you make that decision not to have a relationship, you will find one."

And in Demi, not only did Kutcher, 30, bag himself a gorgeous wife -- he became stepdad to Moore's and her ex-husband Bruce Willis' three children -- Rumer, 19, Scout, 16, and 14-year-old Tallulah.

And because of Ashton's own difficult childhood, he's determined to give his three step-daughters as normal an upbringing as possible.

Ashton adds to British newspaper The Sun: "I don’t think anybody should be allowed to grow up without doing some physical, blue-collar labor at some point.

"I had Rumer work on a construction site with my dad for a while and Scout just went to Guatemala working for Habitat For Humanity and helped build a house.

"Tallulah just turned 14 so I told her she’s going to have to get a job soon."

And are Ashton and Demi planning on having any kids of their own? "I think some day we would really like to have children, it’s about nature running its course," he adds.

"I don’t know about right now because I’m really busy working.

"And Demi’s going to Pennsylvania to start a film so I think it would be hard to balance all of that right now with having kids

"I have thought about adopting a kid my whole life. When I was eight I had a friend called Terry and one day he told me he was adopted.

"He said his parents told him there was a more special bond between them because they picked him. I thought that was pretty profound and I would be open to the idea. In a way I’ve sort of had that gift and opportunity with our girls."
