Liv Tyler has confirmed that she is set to split from her British rocker husband Royston Langdon.

“Liv Tyler and Royston Langdon have confirmed their separation. They remain good friends and devoted parents to their son Milo and are requesting that their family’s privacy be respected at this time,” a rep for the couple said in statement.

The pair wed in 2003 in a private ceremony at a villa in the Caribbean. Their son Milo was born in December 2004.

Rumors earlier this week claimed that the the couple’s relationship had been on the rocks for some time; and were further fueled when Tyler, 30, strolled the red carpet alone at New York’s Costume Institute Gala with a clearly naked ring finger.

Tyler was recently overheard seeking advice from a lawyer on the phone.

“In the conversation, she complained about her husband being a ‘leach’ on her assets, and she said she got married too young,” a source told Us Weekly.
