Britney Spears’ aunt: ‘We’re very proud of her’
Britney Spears’ aunt has confirmed that the Toxic singer is well again.
Chanda McGovern says the once troubled star is back on-track — and credits the singer’s parents, Jamie and Lynne, for helping their daughter sought out her life.
She says, “We didn’t know if she’d make it through the next day and we’re all very proud of her now.
“This time last year everyone was in turmoil.”
She also thinks Britney’s problems may have stemmed from her attitude, because she is “very headstrong and doesn’t like being told what to do”.
She added: “I hope she’ll never walk down that path again and I think she’s got a bright future.”

I am so proud of Brittany and have followed this from the beginning. Brittany looks wonderful, and healthy and has made a 180 degree turn with all the pressure that has been put on her. People that do not know anything about mental illness, should educate themselves about it. Her precious children look so happy when they are with her, and hopefully she will get some type of custody soon. I really feel that the judge is not objective when it comes to Brittany. I felt he should have at least given her overnight visits with her gourgeous children. I think that Kevin was the worst thing that every happened to her. I think that him and his despicable lawyer, Mark Vicent put unsurmontable pressure on her, which could make anyone go over the edge. I think that her father, coming back in her life has made such a positive impact on her.
