Victoria Beckham to play Alan Partridge’s assistant in new film
Victoria Beckham caused quite a stir when she turned up to The Metropolitan Museum Of Art in a see-through white Armani dressing coat earlier this week; and now we know why — she was practicing being a middle-aged frump for her new film role.
The former Spice Girl, 34, is set to star alongside Steve Coogan in a new flick that’ll see her be transformed into into Alan Partridge’s long-suffering assistant Lynn, and she’s in her mid-fifties.
A source said: “The Partridge film has been in pre-production for an age. One reason was because they couldn’t agree on Lynn.
“Felicity Montagu, who played Lynn in the series, doesn’t want to go to Hollywood and the film’s backers decided they wanted a big name to replace her.
“It was also important to them to have a Brit and someone with a sense of fun. Tinseltown is going nuts for Brits.
“Victoria is a big name but no-one expected her to have such a rapier-like wit. She’s game to frump up for the role, too. She was practicing her hangdog grimace to David on Monday. It was cracking him up.”

If anyone thinks ‘I dont care what u think of me’ applies to Victoria Beckham they must have been living under a rock for about 10 years. If ever a girl was desperate for public approval it is Victoria. That’s why she phones the paps all the time and the never ending stream of trivial PR sent out.

What is she a big name for ? - The worst (by far) member of a nineties manufactured marketing group who can neither sing, dance nor act. She is married to a soccer star who is a big name.
