Kate Hudson's rep denies engagement rumors

Kate Hudson's rep has denied reports the actress is engaged to Owen Wilson.

Hudson, 29, fueled engagement rumors after she was spotted wearing a diamond ring in Boston.

But Hudson's rep has slammed the reports, insisting: "She's definitely not engaged.

"She's shooting a movie called Bride Wars, which explains the ring."

But the couple -- who started dating in 2006 after filming You, Me And Dupree together; and split in May 2007 -- "are at a good place with each other," a pal said earlier this year.

"Owen is such a lovely person, and I love him dearly,” Hudson told January's Vogue. "And I wish him beautiful things — health and everything that he desires in life."
