Kelly Rowland: 'Madonna's allowed to be a diva'

Kelly RowlandKelly Rowland insists that Madonna is allowed to be a diva -- because "she's freakin' Madonna'.

The former Destiny's Child star says the 'Material Girl' singer, known for her diva demands, should be able to ask for whatever she wants.

She said: "Madonna can have anything she wants. If she only wants red Skittles then get her red Skittles, she's freakin' Madonna! And if she wants a huge trailer, get her a huge trailer."

Madonna angered artists and organizers at a UK music festival last Sunday, after she insisted on having special Kabbalah water backstage and requesting a private helicopter to take her to the event.

The pop superstar's huge entourage are also said to have eaten all the free food and drunk all the alcohol provided for the other artists performing, which included Kelly, The Kooks and Nelly.

A source said: "While Madonna only ate fresh fruit, the same can't be said of her friends. They arrived early and wolfed down free food and alcohol reserved for all the artists."

The performance was Madonna's first stage appearance in the UK this year; and was her third show to mark the release of her latest album, 'Hard Candy', following shows in New York and Paris.
