Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson "just good friends"

Lindsay Lohan's little sister has dashed rumors of a romance between her famous sibling and DJ Samantha Ronson, insisting the ladies are "just good friends"

"They’re best friends. They’re just friends," she tells Extra. "It’s pathetic what people say," Ali Lohan says, referring to internet reports the pair, who have been caught cuddling and with hickeys in France, are in a relationship.

And Lohan matriarch Dina adds that it's these sort of rumors you just need to ignore. And when it comes to negative press and speculation, it’s important to "deal with it."

"It’s so silly," Dina says. "We actually laugh about it now. It really hurts, but you develop a thick skin. You have to ignore it."

And Dina -- who's currently molding a career for 14-year-old Ali, an aspiring singer -- explains why their journey will be featured in their new E! reality series, Living Lohan, this summer.

"To set the record straight as to who we are as people,” Dina says. Adds Ali, "My mom is just a regular mom trying to help her kids follow their dreams."
