Mariah Carey's ex-boyfriend "shattered" by marriage news

Mariah Carey's ex-boyfriend, Mark Sudack, is said to be "shattered" over the news the singer married new man Nick Cannon after just two months of dating.

Carey secretly dated Sudack, a music producer who worked on her E=MC2 album, for nearly four years.

"Everyone is scared to call him because no one knows what to say," a friend of his tells Us Weekly magazine.

"He never thought she would go off and marry someone else. He’s heartbroken and shocked," says the pal, adding that he "loved her so much."

Carey, 38, recently said of her new husband, "Five minutes after I met Nick, I knew I’d marry him."
