Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse's aunt agrees with the troubled singer's dad that she should be sectioned.

"Sometimes in our heart of hearts – and this is going to sound ever so bad – we wish she would be incarcerated and maybe that would help get her off the drugs," the singer's aunt Sue said Thursday.

The singer's relative also revealed the "tragic" Grammy winner struggles to be a role model for her many fans, a job she never wanted.

"She's setting no example," explained the aunt.

"She didn't want to be an example – all she wants to be is a singer and a songwriter. There are thousands of families going through the same tragic situation as us all over England and they're allowed to get on it quietly – and this is all we ask for Amy."

In the past, Amy's own father, taxi driver Mitch Winehouse, 57, has said: "I want her sectioned. The situation is getting out of control. I want her off the street."
