Angelina Jolie 'pleased' her kids like Kung Fu Panda
Angelina Jolie says she's glad her children enjoyed her latest movie, Kung Fu Panda, because they are her "biggest critics".
The actress, who was speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, where the flick was launched, said her eldest three children -- Maddox, Pax and Zahara, who are all adopted -- loved it "which is a huge relief as they are my biggest critics".
The animated film follows Po (played by Jack Black), a clumsy kung fu fan who works in his family's noodle shop. He's unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy and join the kung fu world to study alongside his idols, one of whom is Tigress, voiced by Angelina.
"This is a real classic tale and it's beautiful and it's got a lot of nice moral messages to it," said Angelina, who earlier this week confirmed that she and partner Brad Pitt are expecting twins.
Asked about all the press attention she was receiving, Jolie said she genuinely thought Kung Fu Panda was good for children so it was a "positive thing and I'm happy to come".
She also talked about making sure her adopted children knew about their Asian heritage. She said she had teachers to her house to educate them about Vietnamese and Cambodian culture.
The 'Tomb Raider' star also added that she was "thrilled" when the movie, which has been described as a love letter to China, came along, because she knew how special it would be to her children.
