Sarah Jessica Parker denies Kim Cattrall rift rumors
Sarah Jessica Parker has blasted rumors that she did not get on with her co-stars in the Sex And The City film.
Jessica Parker's denial comes after reports this week claimed that she does not speak to Kim Cattrall and they go to great lengths to avoid each other.
It was even claimed that Cattrall, who plays the promiscuous Samantha Jones in the show and film, refused to sit through the screening of the premiere in London's Leicester Square with the other actresses and at a party on Sunday night had been dropped off at a different entrance.
But denying the rift, Sarah said she "loved those women", adding, "I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else. We are family, there would be no reason to do it otherwise.
"I'm so proud of the work the other ladies have done, I think they're marvellous."
It has previously been claimed that Parker, 43, and Cattrall, 51, fell out during the filming of the television show, which ended in 2004.
It has also been reported that attempts to make the movie stalled when Cattrall made demands for the same money as Parker who was always paid more for the television series due to her additional role as executive producer.
But Sarah says the real reason the movie adaptation of the HBO smash almost failed to get off the ground was because "there was no script, there was an idea," she said, adding, "When it didn't happen, we all went on... Two years ago I had this instinct we should revisit the idea. Our audience grew after we went off-air so the audience created the opportunity."
