Victoria Beckham steals the paparazzi from Paris Hilton

Victoria Beckham and Paris Hilton went head-to-head in a fight for press attention yesterday -- and the former Spice Girl won hands down.

The pair, who were in London launching new fashion ranges, were vying for the attention of the paparazzi -- and they all flocked to Victoria, who was in posh store Harrods showing off her range of DVB jeans -- while Paris was at Selfridges unleashing her new fragrance, Can Can.

Posh said: "I’m getting a chance from really cool, credible people in a cool career. If you work really hard it happens.

"Everyone seems to love my jeans because they are so flattering. I don't force them on my friends. Naomi Campbell and Kate Beckinsale have got a pair now. But anyone can wear them."
