Goldie Hawn on daughter Kate Hudson: "She's doing really well"

Kate Hudson's mom says her daughter is in good spirits despite her recent split from on-off beau Owen Wilson.

"She's doing really well," says Goldie Hawn. "She is amazing.... She is an amazing girl."

Hawn, speaking from Cannes, at the Partouche Charity Poker Festival where $1 million is up for grabs for a charity of choice, said she hoped to win – as long as she kept her sunglasses on during the nighttime tournament.

"My eyes are the window in to my soul and I can't lie. I need them to keep a poker face," said the actress, who was dressed in a plunging Roberto Cavalli gown accompanied by Bulgari jewels.
