Amy Winehouse flees home because 'ghosts were trying to harm her'

Troubled Amy Winehouse last night fled her home, claiming ghosts were trying to harm her.

The Grammy Award winning singer says a poltergeist -- who she has named Henry -- is haunting her North London flat and is trying to hurt her.

Amy -- who has a well documented drugs problem; and was recently caught on camera smoking crack cocaine through a glass pipe -- even claimed that the scratches on her arms were because she was attacked by a ghost; and is now refusing to return to her flat until her home is exorcised. Amy is temporarily staying at the Chelsea Harbour hotel.

A source close to the singer says, "She has a spare room in her house which she has been too terrified to redecorate because she believes a child died there. It has creepy airplane wallpaper and a weird feel to it.

"Amy is terrified because she thinks he's managed to take over the entire house and has brought bad spirits with him that are scratching and harming her."

Meanwhile, it was confirmed yesterday that the Back to Black singer, 24, would be performing at this year's Glastonbury festival on the main stage on June 28.
