George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Sarah Larson is hoping she can build bridges with the Hollywood hunk and get back together with him.

Clooney and Larson split in May this year, but the former Las Vegas cocktail waitress is said to be pining for him and hopes that one day they can sort out their differences and reignite their relationship.

A close pal of the brunette beauty says, “Deep down Sarah knew she would never tie George down but she found herself falling in love with him. She is still really cut up about the break-up and although they are still good friends she is finding it really difficult because she still loves him.”

Larson, 29 — who recently signed as the face of fashion designer Christian Audigier’s new line — earlier this month revealed that her relationship with the ‘Ocean’s 11′ star helped boost her career.

She said, “I’m very happy with how things are now. I have a lot of great opportunities, doors that have opened and I have no complaints.

“I make good money, I have a house, I have all the things I’ve always wanted.”
