Bardem Ditched Arts For Acting

Oscar-winner JAVIER BARDEM is convinced he’s chosen the right career – because his acting talents far outweigh his former passion for painting.

The Spanish actor relived his dreams of becoming a painter in his forthcoming film Vicky Cristina Barcelona.

And he admits the experience reassured him he was no master artist.

He says, “(The movie) was a chance for me to go back to it (painting), and realise that I am the worst painter ever born. So thank God I was lucky in my acting thing.”
