Jon Voight Hits Out At Roseanne Barr’s Attack on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
Angelina Jolie’s actor dad Jon Voight has blasted TV star Roseanne Barr for her “evil” attack on his daughter and her partner Brad Pitt.
In a posting on Barr’s website, the comedienne apparently slammed the Hollywood super-couple for making millions while starring in “violent, psychopathic” movies – but only giving away a small part of their paycheques to charity.
The writer then took a swipe at the pair for not publicly pledging support for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, before adding: “Now go back to making your movies about women who love to handle big guns that shoot hundreds of people to death.”
Voight is livid with the attack on his daughter – and claims Barr is suffering from the trauma of being abused as a child, reports Us Weekly magazine.
He says, “We can never be surprised at what vile evil comes from the mouth of a confessed victim of child abuse at the hands of her own parents.
“(Roseanne’s) parents responded to the accusation by going on the air and slating she is a psychopathic liar and her sister agreed.”

That actually reminds me of cosmicb here an insane loon, who said to me “I think you have been molested as a child ” (which I haven’t ) .
And tried to make it into an insult. Turns out JV is a loon to.

And of course the obvious that his own daughter had a live in lover at age 14 and were already engaged in knife sex at that age.
AND the fact that he himself said that his daughter was insane , and pleaded the world for help.
What a lowlife hypocrite, seems like the apple didn’t fall far from that tree.
You are outed John Voight. I gave him the benefit of doubt before, turns out I WAS WRONG doing that.

Put it all in context – it’s certainly not evil to “confess” or a better word would be “state” that you’ve been abused but to to lie about it, as Roseanne’s parents and sister claim she did, certainly qualifies as evil, and makes the word “confess” make more sense, as in a confessed liar.
Shorter version: he believes her family, not her, and consequently believes she’s a lying nut job. In that context, his statement makes perfect sense.
