Paul McCartney Denies Wedding Rumours
Sir Paul McCartney has denied rumours he is set to wed American heiress Nancy Shevell.
The couple sparked reports they were set to walk down the aisle in April after McCartney, 66, was spotted shopping at top London jewellers S.J. Phillips.
And the pair was subsequently reported to have sought the blessing of their families after their return from a road trip across the U.S. earlier this month.
But a representative for the former Beatle has denied the star is to wed, saying, “It is nonsense to say they are getting married.”
McCartney ended his marriage to former glamour model Heather Mills, 40, earlier this year, while Shevell, 47, is still battling to finalize her divorce from U.S. lawyer Bruce Blakeman.
