Ben Affleck’s wife Jennifer Garner has confirmed the couple are expecting their second child.
At an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Baby Einstein products in L.A. Wednesday, a reporter for American newspaper USA Today asked the actress, 36, about her upcoming projects.
Garner then pointed to her baby bump and said with a smile, “This.”
She wouldn’t reveal her due date.
“We’re so excited, obviously,” she told Access Hollywood.
On July 17, Garner’s former Alias co-star Victor Garber confirmed the baby news, revealing that Jennifer was 5 months pregnant, which would put her due date around October/November.
Garner and husband Ben Affleck — parents of daughter Violet, 2 — recently snapped up a $16 million house in the L.A.’s Brentwood neighborhood as they prepare for their new baby.
In 2007, Jennifer told British Marie Claire that she and Affleck couldn’t wait to give Violet a little brother or sister.
“We definitely wonder what it would be like to have another — hopefully, knock on wood, someday,” she said.
In June, Affleck told Access Hollywood, “We’re very happy. Things couldn’t be better. We’re kind of taking it easy and just kind of enjoying a little downtime at home.”
