Ashlee Simpson Turns to Nicole Richie For Baby Advice

Ashlee Simpson has turned to Nicole Richie for baby advice.
The singer — who is expecting her first child with new husband Pete Wentz — is said to be feeling daunted by the prospect of parenthood, and new mom Nicole has been more than happy to help Ashlee out with tips on getting ready for becoming a mom.
A source says, “Nicole knows only too well how scary it is becoming a new mom and she has offered Ashlee some friendly advice and a helping hand for when the new baby arrives.
“They get on really well and Nicole is hoping Ashlee’s baby boy will have play dates with Harlow.”
Nicole, 26, gave birth to her first child, Harlow Winter Kate Madden, on January 11.
Ashlee, 23, announced her pregnancy on May 28 in a posting on Fall Out Boy’s official website.
“While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” the message read. “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
Meanwhile, Pete and Ashlee have reportedly started house-hunting in Chicago and New York in a desperate bid to escape Hollywood before the baby is born.
According to OK! magazine, the couple is desperate to raise their new addition outside of the limelight.
A source tells the publication that the Pieces of Me singer is “bored of Hollywood and looking to find a place in NYC,” adding: “They’re trying to find a place in Chicago as well so Pete can be close to his family.”
Earlier this month, Wentz took the first step toward a move, putting his Los Angeles bachelor pad up for sale with an asking price of around $1.8 million.
