Heather Mills Denies Book Rumors

Paul McCartney’s ex-wife Heather Mills has blasted reports she’s set to write a book loosely based on her life with the former Beatle.

It was claimed that the 40-year-old former glamor model had spent the past few months writing a treatment for a novel about a model who falls for a world-famous rock star and marries him before the relationship turns sour.

Sources told a British tabloid that the tome would be Heather’s “way of getting the information out there” regarding her relationship with Sir Paul, and that it’s a “rags-to-riches tale taking in her tough childhood, how she struggled to make it as a model and then how this famous rock star met her at an awards ceremony and how they fell in love.”

But Heather, who was described as “less than candid” by the High Court judge in her divorce from McCartney, insists she hasn’t even thought about writing a book and is trying to move on with her life.

She tells People magazine, “These book rumors are nonsense.

“I am trying to move on, spend time with my daughter and get on with my charitable work. It’s been a terrible period for everyone.”

Heather also rubbished recent reports that she was dropped from Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice even before the show started, because she wanted to be guaranteed a spot in the final round.

She adds, “These rumors are rubbish. Donald asked me to go on the show months ago and I was flattered, but I declined immediately because I have commitments to my daughter, Beatrice, in the U.K., which wouldn’t have allowed me three months to appear on the show. We never got close to the contract stage.”
