Despite her disastrous experience having 17-month-old Angel Iris with Eddie Murphy, former Spice Girl Mel B is planning to expand her family.
Mel — who is married to film producer Stephen Belafonte — said she would like another child to add to her brood of Angel and Phoenix Chi, nine, from her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar.
She tells Britain’s New! magazine, “Not right now, because Angel’s only one and we want to enjoy the kids we’ve got. But in the future, we plan to have one… or two!”
Mel — who now lives in America — also revealed what she missed most about Britain. “I miss the hustle and bustle of London and I miss Leeds,” she said. “I miss fish and chips! And Marks & Spencer’s fantastic prawn and mayonnaise sandwiches!”
Mel said that as well as being the face of Ultimo underwear and working on a new album and sitcom in the pipeline, she’s just been turned into an animated character for Virgin Media’s On Demand ads.
She also revealed she was working on a fitness DVD and that she’s still very close with the rest of the Spice Girls, despite rumors to the contrary. “We’re all still very supportive of one another and we’re all friends at the end of the day,” she said.
Mel added that she had been in talks to replace Sharon Osbourne on the X Factor and that she was planning on a big party to renew her vows to Steven.
