Miley Cyrus Becomes The Youngest Star to Top Aussie Album Charts

Miley Cyrus’ star power is continuing to grow – the teen sensation has just become the youngest-ever star to top the Australian album chart.

Miley’s album, Breakout, broke the top spot after debuting last week at number two.

The Hannah Montana star, 15, is two year’s younger than Avril Lavigne was when she topped the album chart with Let Go in 2002.

And, to top things off, two of Miley’s singles from the album are flying in the top 20 of the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) singles chart.

Breakout was released in America on July 22, 2008. The record debuted and peaked at #1 on the Billboard 200.

In 2008, Cyrus was listed among artists and entertainers as one of Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in The World.
