Mark Wahlberg Determined To Make Marriage Work

Actor MARK WAHLBERG has vowed to make his marriage to fiancee RHEA DURHAM last – because he’s convinced he made a mistake walking away from her in the past.

The Planet of the Apes star revealed his plans to wed his longtime girlfriend Rhea Durham in July (08).

He says, “We broke up after Ella was born. We’d been on again, off again for those few years. But we always wanted to make it work, we wanted to be together, we wanted to raise our family together. And it’s been a lot of hard work and counselling, and I think that’s the only way to make it work, to put in the time and effort.

“I can’t talk about why and what happened (when I left), obviously. But going away doesn’t make it work.

The couple already has a four-year-old daughter, Ella, and a two-year-old son, Michael and are expecting their third child later this month (Sep08).

    Don’t do it Mark. You’re not ready. Remember, you said that you didn’t want to be committed; mostly because of the large variety of eye candy. And besides, you haven’t met me yet. Believe me, it’s coming VERY soon. We are going to be working together for a year (and possibly several times after that), I definitely don’t want you to be married during that time. Love ya sweetie!
