TV chef GORDON RAMSAY has been cleared by British broadcasting officials after he provoked outrage by cooking and eating puffins on his show THE F WORD.
Bosses at British network Channel 4 were inundated with complaints after viewers watched him on location in Iceland, killing and skinning the birds and serving up their hearts – a delicacy in the country.
But watchdog Ofcom has ruled the bird is not protected in Iceland and its consumption is a popular part of the nation’s diet.
