Filmmaker MELVIN VAN PEEBLES has joined the list of honorees at this year’s Gotham Film Festival.
The Sweet Sweetback’s Baadasssss Song director will be saluted at the New York event on 1 December (08) for his work as a writer, director, actor and composer.
He joins Gus Van Sant and Penelope Cruz, whose Gotham tributes have already been announced.
