BRITISH actor Simon Pegg hates film premieres because the celebrity audiences never laugh at his on-screen jokes.
Pegg’s new movie, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, is due to hit theaters on October 3rd — and the star is dreading the flick’s first showing because he has no idea how people will react.
Simon says, “I have never been able to adjust to premieres of my movies, which are really odd occasions. It is a combination of adrenaline and angst. That’s not a paying audience out there, you know.
“And people who get in for free, they don’t laugh so much. You can only relax a long time after the last reel has been shown.”
