KATE Winslet is set to portray British fashion designer Vivienne Westwood on the big screen.
The actress, 32, has reportedly been cast to play the flame haired fashion icon in the Universal film, which will document Westwood’s rise to fame in the 1970s to the present day.
The Titanic star will meet with the designer once the script has been completed to discuss ideas for the film.
Confirming the casting, a spokesperson for Westwood says, “The script is going well and Kate will play Vivienne. It has been a long time in the planning but we’re very excited that it’s happening.”be
