Jamie Lynn Spears is in no rush to wed beau Casey Aldridge — because she wants to wait until her daughter is older.
The 17-year-old sister of Britney Spears gave birth to Maddie Briann in June this year.
But Jamie Lynn wants the tot to be old enough to enjoy her parents getting hitched.
She tells OK! magazine, “Casey and I both agree that we want Maddie to be a little bit older so that she can be a part of it, so that she won’t just be sitting there the whole time.
“We are engaged, and we are really happy with where we are right now. There is no rush for anything.”
“Some people think that you should just get married if you have a baby and you’re young,” added Aldridge. “I think you should try it out and see.”
