Ricky Gervais Builds Gym in His New York Flat

Ricky Gervais has built a gym at his New York flat — so he doesn’t have to exercise in public.

The star, 47, lives with his writer writer-producer girlfriend Jane Fallon.

And while Gervais admits the gym was an extravagant purchase, he insists it was worth the money.

He says, “Jane and I bought a place in New York because we go there so often.

“We built a gym in the basement so I never have to exercise in public.

“I’ll probably always feel guilty about spending money because I know I earn too much.

“My favorite thing in the world is to come home, have a swim, put my pajamas on and open a bottle of wine.”
