Jessica Simpson has blasted reports she is set to marry her American football star boyfriend Tony Romo.
It was claimed the pop star-turned country music crooner and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback had been ring shopping at plush department Neiman Marcus.
But, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight after her performance at a Nascar pre-race concert in North Carolina on Saturday, Simpson, 28, denies the rumors.
She says, “Tony and I have not gone to Neiman Marcus — somebody said we bought a ring there.
“I couldn’t drag Tony in to Neiman Marcus if I tried.”
She adds, “I’m spending a lot of time in Dallas and wearing my #9 jersey proud.
“Life feels really good right now. I don’t really know how much better it could possibly get… I’m beyond the moon and stars.”
