Ne-Yo has vowed to give his MOBO Awards to his mom if he wins on Wednesday.
The So Sick hitmaker is nominated in two categories — Best R&B/Soul and Best International Act.
But if he bags the prestigious gongs, he doesn’t intend to keep them.
He says, “I normally give awards to my mom. She has got a wall she uses in the house I bought for her.
“You should see the Grammy – it’s on like a spinning thing with a light.”
Despite the nominations, the 25-year-old is not taking anything for granted.
He adds, “May the best man or woman win. I think everybody in the categories are worthy of it.”
