Russell Crowe Refuses To Wear Tights For Robin Hood
Russell Crowe is refusing to wear tights for his upcoming movie role.
The Hollywood hardman is due play Robin Hood alongside Sienna Miller as Maid Marrion in new movie Nottingham.
But Crowe will not be donning the legendary bandit’s tight green hosiery.
He explains, “I will not wear tights because according to our research they weren’t invented for another 300 years.
“I apologize for that and to Sienna Miller.”
But the Gladiator star insists there will be plenty to look forward to from his adventure in Sherwood Forest.
He adds, “It’s one of those things we’re taking our time with because you don’t want to be doing Robin Hood unless you’re going to be doing it really f***ing well.
“It’s got to be the best one ever done otherwise you should do something else.”
