Zac Efron has shot down reports he’s set to star in the next Pirates of The Caribbean movie – but insists he wouldn’t turn down the chance should the opportunity present itself.
It was reported earlier this week that Efron had signed a multimillion dollar deal to star alongside Johnny Depp in the Disney movie franchise.
It was even claimed that the High School Musical star was being groomed to eventually take over from Johnny Depp in the series.
But Zac, 21, insists it’s just a rumor.
He told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show Wednesday, “Honestly, at this time it’s just a rumor.
“I wish I was going to be in Pirates of the Caribbean 4, so hopefully that will happen for me.”
