Simon Cowell is back in the arms of ex-girlfriend girlfriend Sinitta after splitting from longtime girlfriend Terri Seymour, according to British tabloid reports.

It was confirmed at the weekend that Cowell and Seymour – who dated for six years – had ended their relationship.

Cowell’s publicist, Max Clifford, insisted the split was amiciable.

He said, “Terri phoned Simon and finished it in September, about six weeks ago.They are going to remain close friends. Simon thinks the world of Terri and that isn’t going to change. He also understands her reason for ending it.

“In the past Terri has said that she wants kids but that just isn’t Simon. Nobody else is involved, certainly not on Simon’s side.”

And, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror, Simon, 49, has been pouring out his heart to Seymour – whom he first dated 18 years ago – since her marriage to financier Andy Wilner hit the rocks earlier this year.

A source tells the publication, “Sinitta and Simon have become much closer recently.

“They have have been offering each other much support over their troubled relationships. Sinitta has always helped put a smile back on Simon’s face. She’s become the closest person to him.

“Simon insists they’re just good friends. He prides himself on staying friends with exes.”
