Chris Rock Turned Down Knight Rider Role

Chris Rock passed up the chance to voice K.I.T.T in the new series of Knight Rider.

The Hollywood funnyman says Knight Rider actor and producer David Hasselhoff repeatedly tried to sign him up as the voice of the famous talking car for the re-vamped version of the Eighties TV hit, before Val Kilmer eventually took the job.

Rock reveals, “If Matt Damon was driving the car maybe I would have done it. I’d rather be driving the car than be the voice,to be honest.”

Weird that Hoff would try to court him since he isn’t involved nor a Producer on the new series. Would have been an interesting take tho, in similar lines to Will Arnet who was originally attached.

  2. I think this is BS. Hoff isn’t attached to the show, and though unintentional, it’s already a funny show w/o a comedian under the hood.

P.S. your captchas are ridiculously hard to read. 12 times and case sensitive. REALLY?!?!
