Katie Holmes Avoids Gossip Websites

Katie Holmes doesn’t read about herself online.

The actress – who is married to actor Tom Cruise – avoids internet gossip sites because she often finds what they say hurtful.

She tells the New York Times‘ T Magazine, “I would get too upset and overwhelmed if I read or looked at what’s out there.

“There’s a mis-perception about me that I just became this wallflower, this woman who doesn’t have any control of her life.

“And that’s pretty wrong. From the very beginning, I’ve made choices in my life that have been very strong.”
