Lindsay Lohan has heaped praise on Britney Spears – after the troubled singer successfully managed to get her life back on track.

The Mean Girls star, 22, compared herself to Britney, 27, in her latest blog saying the Toxic hitmaker is an example of how stars can straighten things out.

She wrote, “Britney Spears is amazing and she has gone through a lot (just as I have), in the public eye.

“It teaches young girls and boys that there are certain things you should not let get in the way of your dreams.”

However, Lindsay’s Hollywood career could soon be over, according to a top studio executive, who warned that Lohan – who has had a stint in jail as well as three visits to rehab – needs to focus on her acting rather than her personal life.

The anonymous boss said, “There are too many talented, pretty girls out here without any baggage. She doesn’t offer anything hundreds of others can’t offer – without any of the bulls**t.”
