Charlotte Church is desperate to give birth to her second child as soon as possible – and is scoffing curries in a bid to speed up its arrival.

The 22-year-old singer & TV presenter – who has a daughter, Ruby, with her rugby playing boyfriend Gavin Henson -  was due to have the child at home on Tuesday.

But there are still no labor pains for the star who hates the idea of being induced in hospital.

A source said, “Charlotte’s not had any twinges yet so she’s trying all the old wives’ remedies.

“She’s hoping the curry, pineapples and raspberry tea will work and has put the midwife’s number in her mobile so she can act fast when things happen.”
