Britney Spears Apologizes For Hacked Twitter Account

Britney Spears’ camp has been forced to apologize to the singer’s fans – after her official Twitter account was hacked on Monday.

The Toxic hitmaker fell victim to internet pranksters who gained access to her account on the popular website and posted a lewd message, which read, “Hi Yall!  Brit Brit here, just wanted to update you all on the size of my vagina.  Its [sic] about 4 feet wide with razor sharp teeth.”

The post has since been removed from the site, and Spears’ team have acknowledged the rude missive.

In posting on her BritneySpears.com website, they wrote, “Our Twitter account was hacked this morning.  We apologize for any offense caused to Britney’s fans and our readers. Everything is sorted out and there should be nothing but great Britney-related news from now on. Thank you for your understanding.”

The prankster is thought to be an unknown individual who also hacked into Barack Obama’s Twitter page, as well as that of US television presenter Bill O’Reilly.
