Mariska Hargitay – who was notably absent from Sunday night’s Golden Globes – is suffering from a partially collapsed lung, her rep said Monday.
“Mariska Hargitay has been sidelined with a pneumothorax,” Gary Mantoosh told Access Hollywood.
But the actress – who plays Detective Olivia Benson on Law & Order: SVU – “will appear in all episodes for the rest of the season,” Mantoosh added, although he declined to say how Hargitay, 44, suffered the partially collapsed lung.
Hargitay was nominated for a Golden Globe award for best actress in a television drama, but she lost out on Sunday to Anna Paquin in the HBO show True Blood.
