Movie legend Ian McKellen wants to team up with Hugh Jackman again.
Lord of The Rings star McKellen and Australian actor Jackman starred together in the X-Men films.
And the Hollywood veteran is keen to get to grips with his old onscreen adversary in the likely event Jackman makes another Wolverine spin-off movie.
Ian says, “I’m here and ready and waiting.
“If the Wolverine movie does well they’ll probably make another one and I’d love to do battle with Hugh again.”
McKellen, 69, played Magneto in the X-Men films.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is due to be released in April 2009. Directed by Gavin Hood, it stars Jackman, Liev Schreiber and Danny Huston.
