Jennifer Aniston’s beau is heading for the small screen!
On Wednesday morning, CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler confirmed that the network is “pretty close to closing our deal” with John Mayer.
“It’ll be a music variety sketch show,” Tassler said. “It’s being developed now.”
Pressed for specifics, Tassler added, “We’re looking at a couple of things.
“One is it’s sort of a pilot. It could be for a series of specials,” she said. “It could be just for a series. We’re just going to shoot the pilot now and see what we have and make a decision after that.”
