Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been nominated for major prizes at the British equivalent of the Oscars: the Orange British Academy Film Awards.

Jolie has been nominated as best leading actress for her role in director Clint Eastwood’s Changeling. She’ll go up against Kate Winslet (Revolutionary Road and The Reader); Kristin Scott Thomas (I’ve Loved You Too Long); and Meryl Streep (Doubt).

Pitt has a nod for leading actor in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He’ll go up against Dev Patel (Slumdog Millionaire); Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon); Sean Penn (Milk); and Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler).

Brad is also nominated in the best supporting actor category for Burn After Reading alongside the late Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight); Robert Downey Jnr. (Tropic Thunder); Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges) and Phillip Seymour Hoffman (Doubt).

Winners will be announced at London’s Royal Opera House Feb. 8.
